The Vitality of the Harvest: Fueling the Mission

In the New York Metro region, the spiritual harvest is plenteous, but the logistical burdens are often great. While we provide our apostolic services and ministerial intervention without the demand for stipends or love offerings, the mobility of grace requires the support of a committed community.

To ensure our team moves with seamless efficiency from one interventional assignment to the next, we invite you to "Fuel the Mission." Your contributions are the direct engine behind:

  • Apostolic Mobility: Sponsoring the transportation, tolls, and fuel for our visiting ministers to reach the furthest corners of the five boroughs and suburban regions.
  • Missionary Hospitality: Providing transitional lodging and meals for our team as they embed themselves within a congregation during intensive weekend retreats or multi-day interventions.
  • The Living Word: Sourcing new Bibles and study materials for congregations in transition, ensuring every member has the tools for spiritual growth.

Continuous Presence: Maintaining the administrative infrastructure that allows our "Preachers Supporting Preachers" network to remain "on-call" 24/7 for the New York Metro Church.

Our Strategic Commitment: Closing the Gap

At the heart of every leadership transition is a delicate human reality: the connection between the Shepherd and the Flock. Our intervention is never "top-down" or detached. We are strategically committed to diplomatic restoration. Our goal is to act as a catalyst that brings church leaders closer to their congregations. By removing the administrative "noise" and the "vicissitudes" of financial or real estate stress, we allow the Pastor and the People to rediscover their shared heartbeat. We work discreetly to heal the "vacuum," ensuring that when we step back, the bond between the pulpit and the pew is tighter, more transparent, and more spiritually vibrant than ever before.

Apostolic Support, Supervision, and Covering

In certain seasons of profound transition, a local assembly may find itself without the necessary "covering" to navigate legal, spiritual, or structural storms. In such rare and vital moments, Bishop John AMC Ministries remains open to a deeper level of service.

We offer our willingness to provide Apostolic Support, Supervision, and Covering on a provisional basis. When it is mutually determined—through prayer and counsel—to be necessary, warranted, and advisable, our office can provide the temporary ecclesiastical umbrella needed to preserve the church’s integrity until a permanent local shepherd is installed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Here are 4 frequently asked questions (FAQs) designed to address the common concerns of church boards, Bishops, and weary leaders while maintaining the professional and missionary tone of Christ Jesus Church Support U.S.A. Ministries.

Is there truly no cost for your pastoral and preaching services?

Yes. Our core mission is "Preachers Supporting Preachers." For churches facing financial hardship or acute transition, we provide our spiritual leadership, preaching, and Bible study oversight without requesting stipends, honorariums, or "love offerings." We are a missionary organization supported by donations from the general public, allowing us to serve the House of the Lord without adding to its financial burden.

Does your team seek to replace our current leadership or take over the church?

Never. We are a transitional bridge, not a permanent replacement. Our strategic commitment is "Closing the Gap"—bringing the existing or incoming leaders closer to their congregations. We work discreetly and diplomatically to stabilize the ministry so that your local mission can flourish long after our interventional assignment is complete.

What is "Provisional Apostolic Covering," and when is it necessary?

Provisional covering is a temporary ecclesiastical umbrella provided by the Office of Bishop John Augustine Michael Chrysostom. It is intended for churches that have lost their senior leadership and find themselves without a governing authority to navigate legal or spiritual "storms." This is a temporary, mutually agreed-upon relationship designed to preserve the church's integrity until a permanent pastor is installed.

How do we know if our church qualifies for this support?

If your leadership is facing burnout, if your pulpit is vacant, or if your board is struggling to navigate the "vicissitudes" of NYC real estate and demographic shifts, you qualify. We focus on the New York Metro and Suburban regions, prioritizing those most acutely affected by transition. There is no risk or cost in reaching out for a confidential consultation.

Your gift is a proactive strike against the "seasonal vicissitudes" that seek to close church doors. It is a seed sown into the survival of the New York Church, ensuring that the Gospel remains the loudest voice in our streets.

We do not request stipends from the churches we serve so that no congregation is ever "counted out" due to a lack of funds. This makes your independent support vital.
